We got the Blues!

Blue Angels that is. I had to work on the weekend of the 15th, so Tanya took Kennedy to see the Blue Angels at Pensacola NAS. They had tried this once before, over the summer when several people got struck by lightning the day of the show. Needless to say that show was cancelled and Tanya and Kennedy spent 9 hours in a car together in the pouring rain. But back to the present show.

Tanya discovered the difference between a plan and a jet. Now before you say, "She doesn't know the difference?" Let me explain. To a mother holding a 4-year-old, the sound of a plane initiates the response, "Oh look mom an airplane." On the other hand the sounds of a jet initiates a child climbing her mother like a squirrel up a pecan tree. All the while squealing like a wounded pig. So lets review...plane, good...jet, the most horrible sound a 4-year-old can imagine.

Beyond that the girls did have a great time. Tanya even got some pictures, mind you she hates working our camera. Claims she doesn't know how. You be the judge.

(Yes, she did forget to lead the Angels, they were only flying at Mach 1)
