Well, Kennedy had her Thanksgiving program at her school today. I am trying to get the video copied to my computer so I can show off my little singer. Hopefully that will come soon. Until then, I'll just tell you how it went.
The Children were dressed in their Turkey shirts (two hand prints with different colored fingers on each), an Indian head dress made of Manila folder and feathers from what appeared to have been a boa. They all lined up and sang three songs for the parents. Some children where more into it than others. But the kids all loved having heir parents there to show off for.
After the singing we were allowed to share the Thanksgiving buffet with the children. Of course today was one of the coldest days this year and my little darling decided she wanted to sit outside for lunch. Anyway, after having some "cold turkey", we brought her back to her classroom and went back to work.
Editorial: What is it with pre-school having functions during working ours. Isn't that one of the reasons we are sending them to pre-school. If we had that much time off, we could stay with our children at home.
