Take Me out to the Ball Game!

Tonight Kennedy got to go to her first official Baseball game. Ameriprise, one of my former employers has a client appreciation night that we get invited to. Tonight the Mobile Bay Bears took on the Tennessee Smokies. She loved it. Which made her baseball loving Mom super happy. Kennedy already wants to know when we can go back. The best part about it, besides spending some time with our daughter not in front of the TV, is that she actually "caught" a foul ball. No really, a ball was hit foul and ended up at her feet. Her first game. It was meant to be. She did want to know when did she have to give it back...we told her she could keep it and her eyes lit up. For the full experience we got her a real ballpark hot dog and cotton candy. Now of course we were in the 755 club VIP suite, sponsored by Lexus. Not our typical seats, but I think she could get used to the VIP treatment. We will see how much she loves sitting with the regular folk at the next game. Anyway, the boys of summer have a new fan, Kennedy Tregre. Now "Play Ball!"
